For the community – Grant writing workshop and information session

The Council understands that many community organizations rely on obtaining grants to ensure that they can achieve the projects, programs and results planned each year.

Accordingly, the Council is pleased to invite all Community Organizations within the Federation Council to the first Grant Writing Workshop and Information Session of 2022 on Thursday, July 14, 5:30-7:00 p.m., at the Corowa Civic Center Art Space.

The workshop and information session are intended to help community groups and organizations compose more effective applications and the likelihood of accessing available funding. Council staff will also be on hand to answer questions directly related to the opening of the Council of the Federation Community Grants Program on Monday, August 8 and closing on Friday, September 16, 2022.

One-on-one sessions are also available with the Councils Community Projects and Events Officer and the Councils Grants Officer as follows;

  • Urana: Monday, August 1,
  • Mulwala: Tuesday August 2,
  • How long: Wednesday, August 3, and
  • Corowa: Thursday, August 4, 2022.

Discuss and participate in topics such as Strategies for writing an effective grant application; Grant search website; Council Community Grants Scheme, NSW Club Grants and a platform to discuss your upcoming programmes, projects and events directly with the Council.

In an effort to make the session more accessible to all groups and organizations within the Federation Council, the session will be available on the Councils website beginning Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

The Council asks all attendees to register on the Council’s website for in-person and virtual participation.
