In her response, Gender and Nutrition Focal Person Cynthia Uwah explained that the theme of this year’s celebration, “I am Generational Equality: Achieving Women’s Rights” was intended to reinforce the message on challenging gender stereotypes, combating prejudices, broadening perceptions and improving women’s participation. at all levels of the economy.

Cynthia Uwah added that in keeping with the commemoration of this year’s celebration, the Student Entrepreneurship Catalyst For Development project had targeted teenage girls from a representative school to mark this year’s event to raise awareness about managing the hygiene of entrepreneurs and their rights as students.
