Bitcoin Price Still Below $30,000, Ether and Solana Prices Stable

Cryptocurrency price today: Even after weeks of a steep drop in the cryptocurrency market, cryptocurrency prices did not appear to increase significantly, as they remained stable for days. On Thursday, May 26, the global cryptocurrency market also remained flat, but in the red, as it was down slightly over the past 24 hours. The negative sentiment in the global crypto market mirrors that of stock markets, which have been affected for several reasons including inflation. The global cryptocurrency market fell 1.62% in the past day, with its value standing at $1.25 trillion, according to the data.

Bitcoin price today was again below the $30,000 levels. Bitcoin price today stands at $29,675.87 at the time of writing, down 0.26% in the last 24 hours.

“Bitcoin remained fairly neutral throughout the past day without any significant movement. Crypto market sentiment remained in the “extreme fear” zone. However, trading volumes on exchanges increased over the past past two weeks or so. On the hourly time frame, the BTC trend continues to cross in a triangle pattern. Next resistance for Bitcoin is expected at $40,000 and immediate support is expected at $24,000,” said the WazirX trade office.

“BTC continued to show little volatility and moved sideways for the most part. Its price was below $30,000,” said Darshan Bathija, CEO and co-founder of Vauld.

“Social sentiment is considered to be directly proportional to price. An increase in cryptocurrency-related social media content typically leads to traders and investors rushing to buy cryptos, which in turn leads to price spikes,” added trade desk WazirX.

Meanwhile, the price of Ether today also crashed to $1,923.06 as of this writing. This has decreased by 2.88% in the last 24 hours.

“ETH was trading below the $2000 level. The ETH merger – Ethereum’s transition from POW to POS is expected to take place in August. Bullish sentiment regarding the impact of the merger on prices will likely be muted due to the broader macroeconomic conditions,” Bathija said.
