Dungeons & Dragons & Writing (via Zoom)

Looking for an out-of-the-box way to expand your characters and character creation skills? Dungeons & Dragons is a collective storytelling game played between friends with dice telling players what they can and cannot do. This 6-week course series aims to take the structure of Dungeons & Dragons and the act of playing the game itself to enable students to conduct a lively and ever-deeper study of character and story structures as characters encounter a collective story in real time. Each student will be responsible for producing 10-20 pages of material over the course of six weeks. Each student will receive additional videos and text to further study the character.

This course will take place on six consecutive Fridays starting September 16 via Zoom. The Zoom link will be shared upon registration and again the day before the series begins. Please write to [email protected] with any questions.

No prior experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.
